Three homepage concepts for the Foundation's new website. Each includes all ten sections from the brief.
The photographs are from Inspire Connections' own sessions. We have left out statistics, testimonials and funder logos until there are real ones to use.
Institutional and structured. Leads with governance and evidence.
Modelled on the annual reports of established foundations: a strict grid, fine rules and a sturdy serif typeface. The four programs sit in a two-by-two grid, and the governance section includes a simple diagram that can be reused in grant applications.
Best for government grant assessors and philanthropic trusts. Trade-off it can feel a little formal.
Landscape-led and editorial. Leads with photography.
A cool palette drawn from overcast Tasmanian light. Text sits in a single column, broken up by full-width photographs with short captions. The mission statement is the centrepiece, set as a large quote.
Best for philanthropic trusts and private foundations. Trade-off it relies more than the others on good photography.
Warm and practical. Leads with the programs and how to access them.
The most contemporary of the three. A line runs down the left of the page linking each section, so it reads as a route. The programs move up the page, just after a short three-step guide to how a place is arranged: referral, funding, and a scholarship if needed.
Best for schools, youth services and NDIS coordinators. Trade-off with more colour and structure, it needs care to stay uncluttered.
The wording is the same across all three, so the choice is about look, feel and layout. Anything we still need from you (ABNs, ACNC registration, board members, contact details and the Acknowledgement of Country wording) is highlighted on each page.
